Have a Heart for Schreiber

The Schreiber Center’s annual Have a Heart for Schreiber campaign is a heartfelt invitation to friends and families to contribute to our Kids’ Care Fund.

This fund helps bridge the gap in uncompensated care costs caused by low reimbursement rates from insurance and medical assistance. The campaign runs from February 1 to February 28 each year, rallying our community to support the children and families who rely on our services. Stay tuned for more details about our 2025 campaign and how you can make a difference.

Schreiber Center Endowment

Established in 2014 with an initial $100,000 gift from the Seraph Foundation, the Schreiber Center Endowment provides a dependable and perpetual source of income, ensuring that children with special needs receive care for years to come.

The endowment fund is composed of hundreds of restricted and unrestricted gifts, managed to ensure long-term growth and sustainability. A percentage of the endowment, known as the “spend rate,” is distributed annually based on the 36-month trailing average market value of each fund. This distribution supports our ongoing services while the remaining earnings are reinvested for future growth. If you prefer to contribute to our existing endowment efforts, you may do so online or by check, noting “Schreiber Endowment.”
