Schreiber Adaptive Aquatics Program

At the Schreiber Center for Pediatric Development, our Adaptive Aquatics Program offers specialized swim lessons tailored to meet the needs of children with sensory and motor challenges. Our swim instructors are certified in the Swim Whisperers Program and use each aquatic session to empower children to become confident and capable swimmers in a supportive and adaptive environment.

Our therapists, certified in the Swim Whisperers Program, provide expert guidance using proven strategies that address the unique challenges faced by each child.

Individualized Sessions

The program focuses on one-on-one instruction, ensuring that each child receives personalized attention and progresses at their own pace.

Therapeutic Techniques

We incorporate therapeutic techniques to help children overcome water anxiety, improve motor skills, and enhance overall water safety.

Adaptive Swim Lessons

Participants attend private half-hour lessons once a week, completing a 8-week program.

Cost is $320.00 out of pocket

Adaptive Aquatic Therapy

Clients attend private half-hour to one-hour therapy sessions as needed. Therapy goals will be set and evaluated every twelve weeks.

Cost is billed through insurance
