What LEGO Camp Offers
Team-Based Play
Campers work together in small groups, taking on specific roles: Engineer, Supplier, and Builder, to complete LEGO® projects collaboratively.
Social Skills Building
Children develop important social skills such as turn-taking, joint attention, giving and receiving feedback, and working cooperatively toward a shared goal.
Language Development
Activities support expressive and receptive language development, including asking and answering questions, using location and temporal concepts (like “before/after”), and increasing sentence length.
Confidence & Self-Regulation
By participating in predictable, system-based activities, children, especially those with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), can reduce anxiety, increase independence, and build confidence in social settings.
Why Choose LEGO Camp?
Evidence-Based Approach
LEGO Therapy is backed by research, particularly in supporting children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), but it’s effective for any child with social communication goals.
Led by a Certified Speech-Language Pathologist
Camp sessions are moderated by a licensed SLP who facilitates meaningful interactions and ensures each camper is supported in reaching their individual goals.
Interactive & Role-Based
With assigned roles during activities, campers learn how to give and follow instructions, offer corrective feedback respectfully, and work as a team.
Age-Appropriate & Engaging
Designed for children ages 6 and up, LEGO Camp provides developmentally appropriate challenges that make learning feel like play.
