Volunteer
At the Schreiber Center for Pediatric Development, our volunteers are the heartbeat of our mission.
Their dedication and support create the nurturing environment that helps children thrive. The success stories of these children are made possible by the incredible efforts of our volunteers who support fundraising events, assist at Camp Schreiber, and help maintain our facilities.
Volunteer at
an Event
Help with event set-up, check-in, guest direction, and more at our annual Gala or Rubber Duckie Race & Festival. Your involvement at these events brings the community together and helps financially support our mission.
Volunteer in our Preschool & Daycare
Assist with classroom activities, preparing lunch, or providing a nurturing presence for our Schreiber kids. Your consistent support helps create a stable and encouraging environment for growth and learning.
Volunteer with our Schreiber Kids
Lend a hand during Respite Nights to provide families with a break. Chaperone and lead activities for teens and young adults at Club 625 events. Or volunteer at Camp Schreiber during the summer, overseeing camp activities.
Volunteer Behind-the-Scenes
Help maintain our facilities with tasks like mulching, weeding, and gardening, or assist with administrative duties such as filing, organizing, and preparing materials for therapy sessions. You can even volunteer your graphic design, writing, photography, or videography talents to support our outreach efforts.
Court Ordered Community Service
We accept Pennsylvania-based court-ordered community service hours for non-violent misdemeanors, traffic violations, and some probation violations. Community-service volunteers support our mission through tasks like cleaning, facility and ground maintenance, and shredding, but they do not have direct contact with our clients or students.
