Community Partners
Schreiber relies on donations from companies, community organizations, school groups, and individuals to continue our mission of providing innovative therapy services to all children who need them, regardless of a family’s ability to pay. An easy way to support Schreiber is to organize your own fundraising event (aka ‘community fundraiser’).
A community fundraising event is any fundraiser benefiting Schreiber that is held by someone outside of Schreiber’s staff. The fundraising organizers donate the proceeds of the event to Schreiber after the fundraiser is over.
A community fundraiser can be as small or large as you can dream. Download our third-party fundraiser toolkit to get started.
Here are a few ideas to consider:
- Fundraise individually by creating a Facebook fundraiser for you or a family’s members birthday.
- Employees/Employee Interest Groups: Host a dress down or up day at work, host a chili or soup cookoff where staff donate to vote for their favorite dish
- Companies: Host an employee giving campaign and consider a % match, consider a register round-up or donation campaign, organize a vendor golf tournament with sponsorship proceeds benefiting Schreiber
- Sports events: football, soccer, dodgeball, kickball, or even corn hole tournaments!
- Motorcycle or Poker Run rides and many more!
